Hey all. I wanted to let you guys know I found a decent source for fill valve replacements, that sells the OE fill valve for 30 bucks. I'm refurbing two old tanks and spent two hours googling for parts because there's no propane supplier near me. Both the Sherwood 3250BC312 and the Rego 9106co were difficult to find. In the end I only found the Sherwood available from one supplier, propane warehouse for $60.
They also have other Manchester tank supply parts and are located in the US, which is fantastic. I was excited to find them.

You can then buy all the parts you need for a tank refurb in one place if you buy that and these. The only thing they don't have is the Marshall regulator.

The part numbers are (in case the rvplus website changes the URLs):
Manchester Tank Outage Valve V20058
Marshall Excelsior Fill Valve ME601-6
Manchester Tank Service Valve V20373
EDIT:
A quick search shows that the part number V20373 also corresponds to a valve that doesn't have the vapor relief valve. If you buy from another source using that number *make sure* that it has the relief valve.

I've been trying to find a replacement fill valve for a Manchester tank in the UK or Europe and they are virtually non existant at a reasonable price.
Unfortunately the $25.99 valve RVPlus's site once shipping to the UK, taxes, VAT and import duties are added mean it on ends up as an £70 part which is about $86 with todays exchange rate. _________________ If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all. |

Likewise me buying from VW Heritage or other German supply houses, the price kills by the time it shows up over the pond.
My last 88 EUR order turned out to be 200 CAD by the time it showed up. But it was better than doing without in my case as no North American Supplier. _________________ John.
