| Charles had at least one other bus prior to stealing Gary's bus. Nobody knows how many VWs were stolen by the family. In 67 he traded a piano given to him by Dean Moorehouse for a bus while he was living in the Haight Ashbury district. He traded this bus for an old yellow school bus because more people had joined his little harem. |

A little off topic but years ago some buddies and I rented the house on P street in Sacramento where some of the Manson girls lived, Squeaky Fromme, Sandra Good and Susan Murphy, Fromme was the one who tried to assassinate President Ford. I can say that house had some serious creepy vibes, and we had some pretty killer parties there  |
