Hi. Just installed my sliding door. I was surprised that i was able to guide that beast into his place single handed. It is a simple and effective design. One small problem. The rear top portion of the door is now about half inch lower. Did not replace any part so only thing i can think of is maybe the roller didn't sit right on the the rail(i am away now). Other than that i didn't see any adjustment point to bring the rear end up. Also, what is the deal with the inside door handle at the rear of the door? it is not moving at all. How does it normally operates?

Show us a picture with the door closed (double check your work first!).
We want to see how the lines match up. As far as I can recall, the only adjustment point is the front rollers on the bottom. If you think the rear of the door is misaligned, then you need to check your work.

It turned out that i was missing the 2 bolts which secures the hinge to the sliding door. I have never removed them so i guess thats how it was. There are total of 3 bolts for the hinge. I loosen the other one, placed a jack under the door(padded to prevent damage to the finish) and lightly lift it then torqued the bolts. It all lined up in a way it should, but because of my body work mistake there is a small gap between the rear quarter and the sliding door. I ve worked on the rear quarter while the sliding door was off and didn't bother to put the door back on and align the angle . I ll take a picture today. Nothing i can do about it. Its ok.

that is a 'dummy' handle that is to assist in pulling in the rear of the door and latching it 'quietly from inside the van..
you slide the door shut quietly then pull in easy with the rear handle.
