1973 Type 4 Porsche 914 1700cc Engine: 1968 Ghia?

What will it take to insert a 1973 Type 4 Porsche 914 1700cc Engine with factory fuel injection? What will work from the 1500 engine? Is the stock transmission, muffler, etc. applicable? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

The muffler will not fit.

You'll need the entire engine including all the fuel injection, computer and wire harness.

You'll need to convert the engine to an upright and get a new muffler.

I suggest you post in The Type 4rum on the STF.
