VDO speedo for Kubelwagen or VDO speedo parts source?

I am looking for a good working 60 mm VDO speedo for a kubelwagen. Maybe parts are easier to find and allow me to refurbish my old one?

With a closer look into my existing speedo:
- the dial works from say "1 o´clock" (=0) clockwise to 11 o´clock (=100)
- and I meanwhile could learn the dial was printed onto the backside of the glass
- the sheet metal "dial" is only a black round plate below the hand with no contents
