I searched but I couldn’t find any good pictures.
I believe I have everything in their correct spots. The one hose I need help on is the small outlet on the canister. I know it goes to the tee that’s on the roof of the engine bay but how is it routed?
I couldn’t find any good pics of a 77 layout so I’d thought I’d post them here to help someone in the future.
I’ll be clamping the hoses later with ABA or norma clamps. _________________ 77 westy 2.0 FI

Damm, that engine bay is CLEAN.
The small vacuum hose nipple on the canister needs to be connected to the tee at the top rear of the engine bay.
It looks like currently the fumes will just leak out of the nipple into the bay.
How do you like the GeeBee hoses and S-boot? |

Gee bee S boot has been great and trouble free.
As for the canister hose, I know I need to connect it to the tee but I don’t remember how it was routed. Did it just go straight across the engine hatch or around it some how? _________________ 77 westy 2.0 FI

The routing doesn't really matter, functionally, of course. Do what looks shipshape to you. That engine bay is definitely shipshape! _________________ John

There is s rubber tee fitting 211 201 405 that has been replaced in this photo:
with what looks like a plastic tee and some short pieces of hose. The rubber tee connects the orange steel evap line coming from the left side and the other metal line coming from the right. You can see how the metal line on the right is pointing slightly forward, normally it would be running athwart the engine bay. The 2 larger openings of the rubber tee are sized to fit the two metal lines. The small branch of the tee faces forward and has a short brass nipple in it, and a 4.5mm ID cloth hose to the small nipple of the canister. The cloth hose snakes just past the bracket for the booster fan.
FYI some of the original tees I have seen have a small plastic orifice plug inside them which reduces the effective size of the hole between the tee and the canister. I'll try to post a photo of that orifice piece - discovered one recently and never knew it existed.
(yes I need to moisturize more, my 14 year-old tells me this all the time)
