Looking for some advice/tips on ensuring I have the proper brake fluid levels. I've accessed the reservoir but it seems like there's 2 chambers in it? When I look down into it after taking off the cap + filter the chamber that I'm looking into is smaller than the whole reservoir and seems different from where the max line is on the outside of the tank. In the chamber I'm looking into, I see a black line that is slightly higher than the fluid level in that chamber. What should it be at?
I'm checking this all out after the emergency brake light started randomly flickering on/off while I was driving. Also making sure that connection is solid for that light. Any other advice would be most welcome. |

| The reservoir has multiple chambers. I have always filled it to the max level on the l/s of the reservoir. Never had a problem using that as the "full" reference. |

Hi,
Just to make sure, the brake fluid reservoir is behind the instrument cluster, on the dashboard. Not sure what you mean by "chamber".
On the right hand side, thare are two marks MAX and MIN. They are fairly visible. If not, use a flashlight to add some contrast.
If you can't see the level of the fluid because the reservoir is too dirty, shine the light in the reservoir hole. The light will reflect inside the fluid, and you'll clearly see the fluid level.
