yes but this one came out from a porsche it has the correct steering spline for VW.
BMW had different splines |
Doesnīt matter what it came out of . Itīs a BMW steering wheel.
It has nothing to do with VW or Porsche even if some years 501/502 steering wheels do fit. Still a BMW steering wheel.. |
Your so smart, but who cares? What are you steering wheel Police?
The steering wheel looks amazing in this car
Go tell your BMW friends about this, see if they care 🤦🏻♂️ _________________ 1966 Slammed Vert Gone

I think it fits well in the car anyway. |

I like the steering wheel! It commands attention. _________________ Jimbo

I simply wanted to mention the correct origns of the steering wheel.
Why? A lot of people fool others they have "rarest of rare" stuff wich simply are from a another German production car.
Lotīs of steering wheels and horn buttons being sold as rare VW parts- and many times they are not.
What you or others use I really donīt care about at all - just good to know where it belongs. |

I have been out of town for a few weeks. Nice to come back and see progress on your build!
Not sure if it is worth the shipping, but these guys make some nice stuff!

I also completely removed the old damaged carpet, created cardboard template where carpet is missing and sent to the UK where they are going to be reproduced with a 100% matching german square wave honey brown carpet.

Do you mind me asking who in the UK is doing the carpets? |
