awesome van, it turned out amazing! I'm working on a (much smaller) restoration on my van and your thread has been a real inspiration - love seeing it come together!

What are your plans for the camper interior? Stock westy cabinets? custom?

Similar to the Westy layout, but will be custom

A bit of parts cleaning/restoration over the past week.

My van did not come with power steering, but I managed to track down all of the parts, pump, rack, lines, reservoir etc. The final piece of the puzzle was to get some PS spindles which I managed to get hold of, including discs and callipers. They were all pretty cruddy so I cleaned them all up.

Next up some electrical work.

This is a wiring schematic that I have been working on for the camper fit out.

Please feel free to pitch in with any comments where you think it can be improved, eg fuse size for the house battery too small. Iím thinking of upping the inverter to 2000w. The batteries are 2 x 100Ah LiFePo.

Still pressing on with this project. While I have been waiting for my engineer I decided to replace all of the main cooling lines.

The plastic lines were in pretty good condition so I left them in place for now, I will likely replace with SS at some point in the future.
