I have a serviceable pair of plastic coolant pipes off an '87 2.1 here in San Diego; I just replaced them with a stainless-steel set. If anyone's interested, they're yours if you come and get them. _________________ John G. - 1987 Westy GW 2.2 5-Speed |

I Recently converted the spare tire clamshell to the Go Westy storage container (spare mounted in the back).
I have a 15 spare tire with a lot of tread and rubber in good condition. Never been in the sun. I'm willing to pass it along!
Pick up in the North Bay Area.

I'm in UT and have the following, happy to give out as a gesture of gratitude for all the great advice I've gotten here on the samba:
- 2 perfectly good (basically brand new) BLAU caps for the pressurized tank which I don't need since I installed a metal tank
- 4 tires and 14 inch original rims (the tires are crap but the rims are good)
- a faded square headlight grille with working headlights (the headlights are a bit cracked)
If anyone is interested in these items PM me. _________________ 1990 Multivan "Sacagawea" [Burgundy]

Used Bosch SR0408X starter - you can use it with this WestyVentures adapter plate.
Bench tests good, but the solenoid is intermittently sticking and needs a tap. You'll probably want to rebuild the solenoid before installing, but other than that it was working fine.
Can deliver along the 101 corridor between Mendocino County and SF if you're willing to wait, or ship at your expense. Happy starting! |

KYB rear shocks. A few years old, they work fine. I put Hijackers in my van to level it out so these were removed. Pick up please.
Heavy duty tail gate shocks. ONLY if you have stuff mounted to your tailgate. I accidentally ordered these a few years ago was really annoyed for years at how hard the tailgate was to shut. _________________ '87 Syncro Ferric Oxyhydroxide Superleggera Edition

Pick up only
Two OEM coolant reservoirs that I'd advise against using only because all OEM coolant reservoirs suck. They don't leak. One comes with a blue cap that I epoxied a new barb to it because the old barb broke. I ran it like that for a few thousand miles.
A full set of rear brakes with 3-5k miles, maybe a lot less. Dunno.

And, like 4g4t, I'm of the same opinion..
But, if you must,,,
I have 2 coolant pressure tanks. Plastic. One is factory, other is after mrkt.
Total of 4 caps.
The stuff that is used, was fine. No problems.
The stuff that wasn't used,, no idea if functional.
Also have 2 original fuel over-flow tanks and replacement "roll over" grommets.
Tanks and grommets were fine when removed. [b GONE

Decent shape. One panel clip pulled out but looks like you can fit a new one behind the fabric and lay some epoxy on the crack. Requires some adhesive where the fabric is pulling off on the backside.
Would prefer to not ship. Pick up Springfield, Virginia.

Free items: Custom pop-top for a sunroof van with partially functional flexible solar panels, steel roof baskets that fit nicely in front and rear of the pop-top. Take one item or all, your choice. See photos of these items installed on my van.
Location: Front range of Colorado. Pick up only, no shipping
It would be great if someone could get some use out of these. We converted to a hightop and so we no longer have any use for these items. I need to get rid of them by mid July.
All items are currently spoken for _________________ 1986 Syncro Sunroof EJ22
