There ya go. You just needed to click on the picture of your Bug and then copy the address to get it to post on here.
Looks good now! You'll have to show us what it looks like once it's done. _________________ VW-less right now...looking

Unity- We're putting together a kit for a customer right now. It works pretty sweet. We are going to make some adjustments on the brackets and it should be done. I'll probably do the same set up with mine but make custom shock towers being that I have none with the narrowed beam. We plan on selling kits soon and eventually for buses while trying to keep the kits under a grand. Everyone else is charging a grand without the compressor and tank. Here is a picture (if I can get it to load) of the car we're working on.

Yeah I bought the Easystreet kit a while ago, Havent put it in yet, and to tell you the truth, Im making new brackets and using bigger bags! I basically bought it to see how it will work, And now I might just sell it! Hopefully I will have the thing bagged by the end of the year (it taking ages!) I just need to find narrowed Trailing arms cause its on an IRS pan!
N!
BTW that look wicked (both the vert and the customers car!) |

No kiddin', we've got a couple of restos to finish within the month so the airbags are on the back burner for now. Sucks, we've wanted to do bags for so long and now that they are almost done, we gotta wait.
Anyway, I know what you mean about replacing the bags and brackets. The brackets alot of people sell don't let the car go low enough, and the bags seem a little whimpy.
Also, some place used to sell narrowed trailing arms in the magazine, but aren't advertising them anymore. Ron Lummus ($$$) does them and my buddy Cameron also. He's doing a set for us within a couple of weeks for another project we got going. He does awesome work and great prices. Shoot him an email if you're interested

Unity, the brackets are almost the same but angled a little different to let the car go lower. You can probably modify the ones you have if you have access to a torch to heat them up. Firestone also makes a bag that is a little more solid and better design. When we order those, i'll shoot you an email and let you know exactly which ones (number) they are. _________________ http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=355803 |
