Hello to everyone
I've a Golf mk2 G60 engine with a 010 VW gearbox 3 speed automatic (the same of Vanagon, Audi and Porsche)
My gearbox hasn't the port for the oil cooler (see the photo)
This is a photo from Vanagon, who has the two ports for oil cooler
Does anyone know how to make the ports for oil cooler? Does anyone know where to drill?
If I can't drill the gearbox, maybe I might drill two holes in the pan, put an external 12v pump who make the circulation of the fluid and put a radiator with a fan. So I can take the fluid from the pan, cool it and then the fluid return to the pan

I looked into this for my 003 Automatic that was in my 76 Bus when I bought it as it didn't have the external oil cooler ports but couldn't find much info other than drilling holes in the oil pan and circulating it with a separate 12v pump and external cooler. I'm sure this will work fine but just make sure that the pump, hose, and cooler are okay for the temps, pressure, and are good to handle oil/petrochemicals.
I ended up buying and rebuilding a 010 from a Vanagon that had the external ports for my build.
