Number 10 looks correct, yes.

When I ordered mine (years ago, whenever I had written this post), I don't recall having had to specify (besides saying specifically what model car it was for: 1967 Volkswagen Westfalia SO-42), and the inlets and outlets were correct.

You can certainly ask them/make sure, and get measurements from folks here on TheSamba if/as needed.

Hope yours works out great; we still use ours all the time!
I flush it out a few times about once every 4 months, and/or before a camping trip.

As we live in the Bay Area of California when the "Big One" hits (earthquake), I like knowing we have approx. seven and a half gallons of water in reserve along with other earthquake-ready supplies.

Post pictures of your project if you have the chance so we can all see how it goes!

The tank reference for our bus is #10 ?
The water inlets and outlets are standard or it's necessary to specify for which vehicle model when ordering?
Thanks

But if the pump is available new, hell, I'd buy one!

I found the Zebra pump originally on an RV site. I called them and they said that in 2017, Zebra stopped making the pump pictured above in this thread, and that the new one they have has the black ball on the end of the handle. This is the same one they sell on Bus Depot for like $40. https://www.busdepot.com/zvw223101

The one I purchased was off of Ebay. I would recommend to search Ebay if you would like to purchase the Zebra pump that looks identical to the original non Whale.

Zebra RV still shows the two hole pump on their website though it is out of stock with an option to be notified when it is back in stock. Maybe if they get enough requests to be notified they will make some more.

Pretty sure the pump with two screw holes like the original is no longer available. I've found other that look the same but have three screws mounting it to the top.

I dug up my receipt from 2015, and looked it up, and unlike mine (pictured below with yellow background), if you go to the product now, today (March 24th, 2017),
it looks like the CURRENT JC804 looks almost identical to the original SO-42 with only two screws!

Someone buy one and let us know.

I'm digging up an old thread, but since DadaCheese requested someone to purchase the two screw Zebra water pump and let the Samba community know, I figured I would post my response- It fits and matches my original perfectly.

This is the Zebra water pump installed. The screw holes lined up perfectly.

Unfortunately, Zebra quit making this style with the flat handle and now only carry the one with the black ball on the end of the handle. I hope this helps.

Looks like the company changed their name:

https://www.toyhaulertanks.com/

I would call them as they probably still have the Westy tank in their design inventory.

Thanks!

Does anyone know what's happening with with INCA? I called and emailed them a few times in the last 2 weeks. I understand that they are on a reduced crew.

Pretty.

You probably already know this but if you leave the handle in the fully pumped position it keeps the pump primed (usually). If you push the handle backward it drains the pump so it won't freeze.

I made up a replacement for the original drain piece for the water tank. It consists of 3 parts (all from HD) and ends up being about the same size/function as the original and works great with the Inca Plastics tank:
