I was finally able to secure a Vaukewo curved suitcase for the under front bonnet. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I can’t install in the front, so I installed behind the rear seat. I have a Blaupunkt speaker behind my seat, so putting the two suitcases back there won’t work. So I was lucky enough to secure the front curved for the rear.

I've been searching for a set for a couple of mounths now..
But yesterday I picked these up I've bought them from a lovely couple (88 and 85 years old). They said that they bought them from the VW dealership when they bought there brand new bug in 1964.
I can't find any brand on it. Except from a little airplane. But that could be the brand of the lock.
The set is in mint condition and every suitcase commes with the original key. Very cool
I'm curious what the value is. I'm not going to sell them, but I'm just curious
I think what I've paid was a great deal

Hello everyone,I just aquired a set of four luggage that looks like the brown set above with a makers mark inside by the name,Leder-Schüler Koffer-fabrik Hamburg.
Was wondering if this set if specific to early beetles, thanks.

It goes in the front but it doesn´t fit in mine since it has the big 54 gastank.
It fits perfectly in a 55 and later, tried it in my friends 58 the other day. _________________ http://vw-bluehats.blogspot.com/ |

Wow, Envious.
Does the set I posted look like it's correct?
It's a lot of cash for me and I'm wondering if it's real or a waste of money picking these up...
Anything in particular I need to look for on these?
I have a '66 and a '67 Beetle here, which I'm sure aren't correct for the suitcases, so correct ID is even more crucial...
Thanks, N. _________________

Obviuosly for later style gas tanks. I use these in my 64. Cool none the less even though not as classy as the early luggage.
