I want to one day build a 4wd sandrail using a sychro chassis. I would have to find a rusted out or crashed one with good running gear. I am building my own sandrail from scratch. I made a bender and got some scrap tube and started bending. I drove it around the yard 2 weeks ago with no brakes. I can't wait to get it out and going full blast.-Jeremy |

Well after a 12 year break........there is another VW offroader back in comission. Partially due to gas prices, but I had my 74 bug for about a year before gas went up, it was just under construction. I didnt realize how much I missed having a baja. |

No, It's not street legal. The engine...uh, I don't know, 500,000? I don't really know. I was joking. It has not been rebuilt recently so I have no idea. Come check it out and make me an offer. |

A buddy of mine is building a 70 baja. The top has been removed and replaced with a full cage that we made. He's putting the finishing touches on the Pinto 2.3 motor. We just made some bumpers for it this past weekend.
While it will go faster than my Samurai, it won't go nearly the same places. Then again, I like playing in the big rocks out in the Sierra mountains. |

Joey, I am not sure if any of the chicks he knows would want to pose for you guys, but he said that the hot chick percentage is pretty high in Towson. If I ever come down to visit him I will have to meet up with you guys and talk VWs and scout some talent! |

We do plenty of Baja thrashin' here in Oregon. Heck, that guy who said we spend more time in the garage was right on. I think Ive broken just about every part on my 71 baja (bent atleast). As a matter of fact, I just bent a trailing arm so my bug looks like a lowered swingaxle on one side, and a lifted irs on the other. Its my daily driver and I havent had time to fix so if you see a funny looking baja going down the road in Eastern Oregon, wave. |
