It used to be great back in the day. Now they've been bought out by a scam company and essentially you have to pay to access your photos.

Yes I know.

I had a PhotoBucket account with loads of VW photos.
I had my TDI ALH engine install photos in PB linked to the TDI Club.

So, over several months I replaced them through the TDI Club Photo Gallery.
As I replaced them I deleted the photos from PB and finally closed the account.

I did the same here in the Samba. Luckily I had not posted any of them here. So, I do not have any threads or comments with PB linked photos.

Sure. 10c just drop the images on any folder on your site, give me the thumbs up, and I will send the updated post to the mods. This won’t work if you’ve changed the file names. One file is named RearSealMask.jpg

Also you shouldn’t have any concerns about me crawling your site because Small, low-traffic sites might see 10–100 crawls per day.

Using the Samba Photo Gallery is not rocket science!

Just my two cents!

All that would probably take me 5 minutes to do.

I would ask 10c for permission before you do anything like that…

It can be a bummer when a poster doesn't post the photos to thesamba because they disappear if poster's host site changes.

A benefit to the poster is that they retain ownership of the images and can remove them if they want to.

My guess is that these photos would be gold to someone who's rebuilding a wbx. Maybe tencentlife would share them with you. Maybe he won't. He has a website and an e-mail address. FWIW.

This thread was referenced on a Facebook page recently and when I clicked on it I was disappointed to find that all the pictures are gone... Seems a bummer. Any chance someone can fix that?

Hello USA

What came out of the QSC test. Any good?

How are the quality they supply today?

I am T4 oxy guy. And the regular quality P&C are so and so. People start to use Porsche 964 P&C nikasil. They last long and are exceptional quality, if you can get your hands on a low mileage set.

Has 10cent torn down this engine? How did the QSC pistons hold up with 9.7 to 1 compression ratio?

That's the right one, and they fit just like stock. It's a really good filter.

Hey tencent....I asked about the Trasko oil filter on the Subaru Outback forum and I think I kinda got laughed at. I still thought they were a good idea but left the idea behind. Then....I see in this post that you use them!!!! So I feel much better about thinking of using them.

Would that be the Trasko TI-10S you are installing? And I am assuming there is enough clearance for the Trasko. Their web site says there shouldn't be issues but I figure if you have them on your engines there should be no problem. And it is the one with fins right? I see one on there without fins and the Trasko bee with the letters USA.

Well Jake has a lot more in the way of resources (wish I had a big building full of machine tools, and an in-house dyno), but I keep plugging along.......
