Installed Stacy's slow window fix kit and it's great! The passenger window goes up and down much faster. Super straightforward installation; watched the video linked in the ad (link below) which made the install extra easy. Thanks Stacy!

I had a window motor go out on my Syncro Vanagon recently and Stacy repaired it for me in short order. Stacy is also a joy to talk to via phone and is very knowledgeable about many things VW. Awesome job, thank you. _________________ 86 Syncro Wolfsburg edition

Great guy to deal with, bought a passenger side window regulator and motor from him. It was moving a little slow, he called and we talked about my options. I haven't really dug into it yet to decide exactly what I'm going to do. His rebuild is great and he's a great guy to deal with. I would buy from him again. Quick shipping as promised. |

My purchase from Stacy, 16CVs, went very smoothly. He just sold me a rebuilt German Vanagon power window motor and that system in my car is now fixed and back working as it should. He is an A+ seller. Highly recommend. Thanks Stacy. |

I bought a window regulator/motor from Stacy a couple years ago. Recently the motor seized due to a corroded lower bearing. I contacted Stacey to see if he had another motor I could purchase from him and he told me to send it to him and he would fix it. I think it took maybe a week between the time I mailed it to him and the day it arrived back to me now working again in perfect order. Thank you Stacy for standing behind your products and the quick turn around. |

Just another delighted power window motor rebuild customer of Stacy's. Both motors work as well or better than they have in the last 23 years that I've owned the van! And the motors were back to me in a week!
Stacy is one of the real deal people in the vanagon community!
Thank you Stacy!

Stacy just did some work on my ‘87 Wolfe. My driver side window stopped working and the pax was slow. Rather than sending him the regulators and motors, I asked him if he could do the job if I came to visit his place. He was happy to accommodate my request, and I finally made my way his house in Redwood City. He ended up replacing both window motors and a pax side regulator. The pax side was an aftermarket Bosch motor and an Italian regulator. He encountered some problems during the fix- the switches were backwards and sometimes didnt cooperate. He was able to figure out the issues and now they work great! He spent about 3 hours working on my van, and with two motors, a regulator, and two custom door inserts (that he developed and produced), was half the cost of what a specialty VW shop would’ve charged me. Stacy is seriously the man! Great, nice and friendly dude! _________________ 1987 Westy, Dove Blue

I met Stacy about a year ago at a Vanagon meetup in Southern California. He was extremely knowledgeable in all things Vanagon, especially the power windows/mirrors. I got a set of his power window switch protective covers. If you have power windows/locks these are a must have and worth every penny! Stacy helped me fix my window regulator today by talking me through it. Like I said, I only met him once, but he took the time to help. He could have ignored my text or just responded with a text of his own, instead he called me and made sure I was on the right track. I can’t thank him enough for his help and encouragement! Please support a fellow Vanagon guy and check out some of his unique products. |

Bought a pair of rebuilt p/w motors from Stacy and they are working as well as new. Great communication, too. Thank you, sir! _________________ "I love mankind, it's people I can't stand".

Another super satisfied customer here. I drove my 87 Westy down from Seattle, and stopped in the Bay Area to visit a friend. So I dropped the van off with Stacy to dx and repair the electric windows. He did a great job on those, they are SO FAST and happy now! Took me through everything he found and what he did. There were some previous "clever" fixes for notoriously weak plastic parts that he left intact (with some admiration for the anonymous fixer), and some other hacks that he fixed.
But ... he also looked over the van and found the remnants of the cruise control system (it had never worked since I owned the van), with a vacuum hose that had a hole in it. He removed that vestigial part and ... voila! ... I now get 20 mpg and there is a slight but noticeable increase in power up hills. He gave me a few other pointers as well, and an emphatic recommendation to replace all my fuel lines. All that in a day.
I wish he lived in Seattle. Or I lived in the Bay. Either way, I'll be looking for opportunities to have him work on my van as the opportunity arises. He is, as the previous poster says, a treasure for our community. |

Yes, Stacy is awesome! Long story short, through his patience, knowledge and kindness my 1 previously non-operating and 1 Ok functioning power window motors now operate great! Should they ever fail, they'll be on their way to Stacy for his expert rebuild.
Stacy is a treasure to the vanagon community!

i apologize for not posting this earlier
a lot of that was due to not buying something that was listed, but it's my fault for not leaving feedback.
anyway, Stacy did a cross country relay race for some glass i wanted for my Vanagon. i know it was an epic pain in the ass for him to do yet he did it anyway and i couldn't thank him enough.
basically he helped get me a stack of windshields that weren't available here in Connecticut. he was great to deal with and kept in good contact. stand up guy that i have no problem handing him money. A+ 100% good guy! _________________

Just did my first power window regulator swap using Stacy's rebuild service. He was super easy to deal with, shipped next day, and everything worked great. _________________ Driving a 90 Carat since 2014

I bought a 5 speed shifter from Stacy. It is exactly as described, and arrived well packaged and when he said it would. He's a pleasure to do business with. |

Power window regulator is working smoothly. Stacy took care of me with some special attention to the broken unit. Thanks! _________________ Vanagon ’83 diesel AAZ w/Giles injection, 5spd 4.57R&P+TBD and a '78 diesel Rabbit |
