There are 2 in the northern part of sweden, that is under restoration.
The interior picture that are linked to in page 3 :
is kind a near to hit the road. I know the owner got a rusty fold down middle seat, and much more of the OG taxi parts.
But, in case of this 2 barndoors, they are massive restoprojects, that needs much welding and much parts, so, it´s a long way to the goal of a driavble TAXI bus.
In sweden back in 1954 they were quite common, about 100km from stockholm there were 10 vw taxi. |
