Context to the 2/24 feedback: I was travelling out of the country, my email was set to notify people that emailed, but the customer used thesamba to message me. 1.5-2 weeks was enough time for him to lose patience and decide to leave feedback that affects my reputation.
When I returned, I followed up, but he had already decided to use another spring set. Nothing is wrong with Statesides. His spring pockets must be too small. If the customer wouldn't have damaged the springs by grinding on them, I would've either refunded or traded the springs with the Otevas that he originally asked for. _________________ "A petrol engine can start readily, run smoothly and give every appearance of being in good order, without necessarily being in good tune." - Colin Campbell, "The Sportscar Engine" |

Originally I posted as a satisfied buyer and everything acceptable.
After trying to use Stateside single valve springs on a stock head they do not fir in AutoLinea heads without modification. They are considerably larger in diameter than OEM springs.
Tried PM to Tabari.
One week now .......... crickets!
Stateside Tuning singles are a loser.
Careful of this seller despite the good reputation. _________________ Never blame lazy people, they didn't do anything. |

| Outstanding Seller - I purchased rocker shaft shims and they were of excellent quality. I couldn't have shimmed my Scat rockers without his great assortment of shims. I will purchase from him again! |

I bought thermostat control flap retention clips from buguy1967. Good price, they arrived a week later, and the condition on the parts was good and matched the advertisement. The retention clips fit my control flaps very well. Good seller, I recommend. _________________ 1956 Beetle Ragtop: My Father's car

Super seller! I highly recommend Tabari. Excellent service and quality. It truly doesn't get any better.
He built some 36 HP solid shaft rockers for me. His machine work is second to none.
I would buy from him again. _________________ 1956 Beetle - Jungle Green.

I will be more things from you. _________________

Tabari has machined a bunch of rockers for me as well as flycut some heads and match ported intakes. First class work ALWAYS! He always asks any questions before he begins to make sure he does exactly as you wish, very refreshing in a hobby where everyone seems to do it however they want regardless of what you ask for.
I have always been happy with Tabari's prices, and he always gets work done in a timely matter, always reply's in a short time when i try to contact him.
can't beat the service! |

I've been working with Tabari on a custom Type 4 top end rebuild (new pistons, cylinders, heads). He's been extremely helpful throughout the entire process.
Highly recommended! _________________ © CJ Industries, Inc.

I had Tabari order some 1.1 rockers and then machine them for me (back cut and dished). I just got them and they look terrific. Good communication, packaging, and machine work. I highly recommend buying 'stuff' from Tabari. _________________ 1971 Super Beetle, 1776, dual Weber's, roller crank, modified large valve heads on match ported intakes, 9.2 to 1 compression, close ratio trans, lowered suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, truss bar and other goodies.
