I won a set of syncro decals at the Syncro de Mayo 2010 raffle donated by Monte but still have not received them. It is now November and he doesn't respond to my emails or voice mails.

Have purchased decals in the past and had a chance to work with him on a project. Sent down a sticker to be copied and it came back in less than a week undamaged.
He is a straight up guy (except when he is sleeping) whom I would have no hesitation in dealing with .
Does what he says and says what does.

Monte never acknowledged that he actually shipped mine... if I got some in the mail and they were correct (what I ordered), I would probably pay for them... |
I plan to do just that, in a few weeks!

I sided with Monte from the start, but when people started getting theirs and mine never showed up, I started to wonder. I talked to Monte, he said he sent them. Weeks later I still didn't have them so I notified Paypal.
Monte issued a refund without a word!
Yes, I agree all delivery companies make mistakes, this just seemed out of the ordinary.

Some guy rang our doorbell and told my wife that they had been delivered to his house! Post marked 4/25/09. I know my mailman wouldn't misdeliver my mail, must have been a sub!

depends upon how you fund your PayPal: if you paid with PayPal and a credit card, it went back as a credit to your card; if you have a bank account attached to your PayPal account and paid that way, it'll be money in your PayPal account until you either spend it or transfer it to your bank account...

I too got an email from Monte and a refund through paypal....pretty pathetic that it took a month and a half for this to happen. All of this could have been avoided with a little bit of honesty and some simple emails from Monte. Oh well, what's done is done, at least we got the money back. |
Yes, I remember it well. I honestly felt the guy would come though! 
Then others in here started saying they got theirs and I felt kinda like "I told you so"
Then the BS started, "Oh, I sent yours, I remember your name" Then he call Blankmange (Dave) Big Wave Dave! Yeah, he told me that he was making sure mine went back for the new run, last week. Now a refund with no explanation!

I'll be satisfied when I get my money; it takes a couple of days for PayPal to process the refund...

BWD--if you don't have your stickers by the end of the week I would escalate it to a claim. Read up on paypal the differences, you need it to be a claim in order to get your money back. |
