Also, We neglected to present the long distance award. It goes to Detroit Johnny. We will get one to you! Thanks for driving all that way. How many miles was it?
Sorry about that omission - |
Ha Ha!!! No problem, not a big deal at all.... I just cried a little bit on Colby's shoulder. I was going to get on here this morning and talk a little good natured trash. Good thing I actually read the thread first.
I made it home last night after leaving G-boro Monday morning and staying at Aarons in Cleveland on Monday night.
Total trip miles this year way 2015.3.... A little under last year, but I didn't have to head to TN and play taxi driver for anyone this year.
I will be back again next year, this is my favorite trip of the year, for sure. After the long winter up here, it is always nice to head south for a few days.
Thanks to Bryan, Jake, Regina, Colby, Shane, and everyone else that make Friday night and Saturday happen. More thanks to Jesse and Michael for letting me park and stay Saturday and Sunday. Good times, good times. Even more thanks to Aaron for the shop space on Monday night, and the access to an oil drain pan.
I met more really cool people again this year, too many to list, and saw some that I hadn't seen since last year. I even got to ride some really NC trails on Monday before I headed north, which was nice after hauling that dang bike around for 6 days in the bus. I need a rack for the back so I don't have to load and unload it every time I park.
I haven't had a chance to go through any of the pics I took, I know I have some from Friday night. I'll try to post them when I get a chance. _________________ ostkuste |

| Clara & I just got home 20 minutes ago, after an exhausting day of travel. Much thanks to Bryan, Regina, Jake, and Mark Rafferty for the hospitality. It was nice to see everyone out at the show and catch up with old friends. Hope to see everyone out at the Bulli brigade. |

got home monday night around 9:30, after spending saturday night and all sunday taking a break in augusta. Took 121 from rockhill to augusta, -perfect- route - 20 minutes longer, 5mpg better, and much more relaxing than the run up I20/77.
then packed out a bus load of parts in south georgia, and hauled them down here at 50-55mph, thanks to the 100+ degree heat that came from no where! A few times had to dip into 3rd to keep the temps down.
Finally dropped below 90 in jax and I could roll it safely back up to 65. Whee!
arrived home to find more floor being added upstairs in my shop, so I'll have somewhere to store the stuff that's in the bus.
all in all a great event, thanks to the CTS crew for their hard work!
pictures when I get a chance.... |

Fotoki is a very strange user unfriendly site so I have downloaded my pics on Facebook.

When I checked my video posted on the previous page, this one was suggested.
Great job, you can see just about every vehicle at the show, and a great tune.

I thought you might enjoy that. The lady at the bank said "so what do you have planned for this weekend?" when I asked for $300 in $1's and $2's. [/quote]

DANG! I just realized I have no pic of Andrew Strom winning for best split passenger. Sorry Andrew.
On another more important note, thanks again to Andrew for the Tetanus award. |
Haha, it's alright. I'd take one now, but my bus is no longer has an engine or transmission in it, haha. Got home and started in on replacing my transmission with a rebuilt one I picked up at the show Sunday.
And no problem on the tetanus award.

I couldn't make the show, but sold some stuff to Andrew that I had a friend bring him there. I'd just like to publicly thank Andrew for paying for his $300 item in two stacks of $1s, and one stack of $2s. You know exactly what makes a Jersey Looker owner tick. |

Another GREAT CTS has passed into the history books.
I agree that gas prices probably kept attendance down a bit.
But there were some fine buses in attendance, and as always, a fun group of people to hang with.
Thanks Jake, Bryan, and Regina and family for putting on the show.
Since I missed last year, I hadn't seen Brad's Flipseat camper.
That bus is a time capsule, and my favorite of the weekend.
Anyhoo, here's a shot of Gibbs' Jersey Looker, the "Panty Dropper" in action on the way home after crossing the Bay Bridge on 301.
Be sure to watch in in fullscreen HD 720p.

Seeing that in action is like watching an incredibly sensual 70's adult film.... _________________ -Bryan
