Sorry it took so long to get them to you, all the bits need a little finishing but i didnt go mad because they need to be hand made to be right so i leave that for you to decide.

Will keep you posted on the other bits, i worked on them last weekend and they are moving in the right direction..... i think Smile

When you treat them like you treat other people then I´m not surprised about their reaction. Especially VW Nutzfahrzeuge is very keen on VW history and very communicative.

What about your proto project? Still something running or just warm winds? Do you really have the balls and abilities to tackle this? Anyone can weld a patch on a Gerson engine lid so show us pics like they do with their ´50 reconstruction on boxerville!

Yes thats a great thread... http://boxerville.se/forum/viewtopic.php?id=82

great thread. i wish i knew how to change posts to english tho. pictures do a great job of telling story tho'

I think this is some kind of old matchbox-label, or a collector thing like you could find in chocolate-wrappers and candybars or something?? ...looks like they used a PROTOTYPE picture for example?? ...for you Ben!

it was on E*ay 3 - 4 years back, didn't 'win' it, but allready posted it a long time ago in the Gallery... I also made it look a bit older here:
