Not quitting but I don't see myself having one for a few years. Thanks Mike, I appreciate it. And yes, the trim is on the car. _________________ Type 3 Fasty |

Well, after having the car sit for the majority of the time that I've owned it, I decided to sell it. I received payment on it yesterday and is only waiting for the new owner to get his paperwork in order for it to go to its new home.
At least it will leave in slightly better condition than it arrived. _________________ Type 3 Fasty |

In troubleshooting the wiring, I think I may need a headlight switch. Anyone have one laying around that would work for me? Its a 67 in case you haven't read anything before this. thanks! _________________ Type 3 Fasty |

Front tires are 165/45-15 with a 2 spline drop. The rears are 185/55-15 at 10 degrees below horizontal with 25mm torsion bars. _________________ Type 3 Fasty |

Not meddling but just advising... I'd lose the coil- overs pronto. You're going to bust off a lower shock mount if you hit a good bump. Shocks are dampers only- shock mounts were never intended to carry the weight of the car or absorb that much impact. People back in the Rust Belt with shocks that would rust, go bad, and freeze would break off the lower mounts every time.
This was back when these cars were still fairly new, too. Just a serious FYI. The factory never authorized optional coilovers or air shocks for these cars like they did a Bay Bus for just this reason. The only factory upgrade was the heavier duty torsion springs- there was an "M" code for this. |
Good eye Tram!
My driveway alignment job is only meant to get it close enough so it can get me to the alignment shop. I also have all new ball joints for the front end that will need to go in before the proper alignment is done.
And yes, you are also right about only running a coil in the rear. I kept the new sway a ways in there. Its only about a 95lb spring that were meant for the purpose of fine tuning the ride height. I got tired of taking it all apart and re-indexing for the purpose of that last .25" adjustment. _________________ Type 3 Fasty |

Did a little work today. Front end alignment, decided to clean up the gas tank while it was out. Installed the coilovers in the rear, installed the passenger seat after re-padding it and a couple of other little things.
And a little rake
I'm actually banking on the rears settling a little bit. I think it looks pretty aggressive the way it sits though |

I asked because I have a set of Enkei 15x7 ET38 I would like to run on my 1967 fastback (need to get my ass in gear). Thanks. Love the stance. |
