That’s exactly right. Gerson has the green panels. I remember now. You’re GabFab with the carb cutouts. I was confused. Seems to happen to me more and more now that I walk into a room and forget why and spend the rest of my day looking for my phone. Getting old sucks for sure. Also, apparently it’s true that ones zipper no longer stays up on it’s own when you reach a certain age. But I look forward to seeing some pics. |

Wish I could take credit for the green panels , I think your talking about Gerson green panels / sheetmetal ??? he makes very nice stuff ! I am a small one man shop , hand making everything . But thank you ! I need to figure my phone out to drop pictures of my white car , my camera died a while back and have not been able to drop photos . have a bunch of progress on it last summer ! I really need to finish it !! _________________ Shipping is NOT included in any of my products or parts. Just want to say thanks from GAB-FAB for any purchase!! |

How come we don't get to see the finished product in this thread Danny? Would love to see it finished. And I must say, your GabFab green parts are amazing fits. They must be worldwide now. There must be green metal under so many cars out there. Is that a '60 in this build? I'm gonna have to go back and look closer at the hood but I'm thinking it's a '60 and that means many "one year only" parts. Just got halfway done with an original '60 rag but sold it to buy a notch.
Beautiful work Danny. |

Its a peice of mahogony veneer I got at home depot and slowly got to fit conture , helps to lightly wet before .The metal it rivets to is some 20 guage I bent and then used my shrinker/ stretcher to form the bends. I dont like how you can push material on seat backs without. _________________ Shipping is NOT included in any of my products or parts. Just want to say thanks from GAB-FAB for any purchase!! |

Hey Danny is that paneling or some sort of veneer you are using? Is the tab you are screwing the wood into stock or did you fab that up? I have been wondering what to do to the back of my Ghia seats. |

Awesome stuff! How did you make the tunnel bottem removeable? Did you use nut inserts in the pan halves to bolt the bottem back to? I've made repairs to some of the tubes but only from the outside of the tunnel by cutting holes in the sides. Never thougt about taking the bottem off. |
Thanks, I used aircraft nut plates on pan and counter sunk allenhead screws for fastener's. Does make it ez to repair any problems in tunnel. _________________ Shipping is NOT included in any of my products or parts. Just want to say thanks from GAB-FAB for any purchase!! |
