I finally got around to putting the new safari wiper adapters on, they work great with the new 12 volt wiper motor. I also got to drive her down the highway and around town and she did great. I even had someone stop in the middle of main street to take a picture while I was getting gas lol.

It is awesome to see how for it has come! Saved another old aircooled's life. Riding down the highway with the safaris open is the best. Now it feels like summer.

Well, I already had the panels and realized they were the wrong years the day I went to install them. I should have checked weeks ago so I could have ordered correct ones. The 14s were on it when I bought it.

The truck looks great so I hope you don't mind me asking this:
These 2 things jumped out at me:
1. Why the 64-up front kick panels - were the earlier ones out of stock?
2. Why not 15" wheels?

Sure did, I just cut out the seat mounts and used the original edges of the floor with the treasure chest locks.
She got a little sun yesterday, I'm almost ready to start sanding.
