Hi all,
I've been working on a VW documentary for a few years now & we're
closing in on finishing. It's part exploration into the subculture & part road trip.
To get a sense of what we're putting together, take a look at our promo trailer & extended fundraising trailer, both at www.CircleTheWagen.com
The road trip consists of two guys, Dave & Charlie(me) who are
trying to get this '72 Transporter Deluxe from Tulsa to Los Angeles through
utilizing the A.I.R.S List (see www.type2.com/rescue) & the general
good will of the community. It's been incredibely serendipitous the
people we've met & who've lent a hand. Truly incredible. And it's
made for great footage too!
We look forward to finishing our love letter to the vintage Volkswagen community we've enjoyed getting to know & love.

That bus is on display in the lot at Capistrano VW (formerly Bill Yates), visible from Interstate 5 freeway between San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente, Ca.

We went to a "World Premiere" of the movie at Capo VW about 12-14 years ago. Somewhere around 100-150 ACVWs there. Hot Dog Fred cooking brats. They cleared off the entire sales lot to have room for all the VWs. Good times and good memories.

When I 1st visited the link above I was able to play the video. I figured I would come back and watch another day. Created a free account and all that. Now, I don't see any play button like before.
So, how can one watch the video? I see no play button or anything. Only a add to my list button which does not play it.

Yeh I had hoped to watch via this Tubi since I signed up is all. haha.
Just thought it odd the play button was there day one and a few days later was gone.

What happend to the Croc? Did it get any second life?
Unfortunately, it seems as if the wrecked bus was bought cheaply just for the movie and is being driven through the country, sputtering rather carelessly. What is more worth seeing are the helpers in the scene (applause) and the landscape on the journey (thanks to the cameraman).
All more trouble-free journeys than the Croc,

That was a good watch! Although, I do agree... I'm left wondering what happened to the Croc? Will there be a sequel?

I seriously doubt that the motivation was to make a movie, rather a movie was haphazardly made to show how cool is is to travel in a VW bus in the US. After all, it’s a minor miracle that the movie was made over several years, and that the bus even existed and was able to be made roadworthy after several instances of abandonment

The Croc has been on exhibit in the front line at Capistrano Volkswagen, formerly the fabled Bill Yates VW & Porsche, for several years, but I have noticed it’s absence for a number of months now
