|
|
Has anyone bought the power mirror replacement glass from Van Café? Is this an OEM replacement? Does it have the heating element installed? It looks like the real deal but the website does not specify and I'd like to be sure before I purchase it.
Thanks,

Are you talking about the blank lense or the entire plate?

I will call them today for sure. I posted since it was Sunday and I was going to place an order last night, they weren't open obviously.
It's not just a stick on, looks like the whole thing. I'll reply here with the answer incase someone searches for this in the future.

It is heated and an OE part.

First word of description of the mirror glass---"Factory"
I know that the word "factory" qualifies the mirror glass to be VW not aftermarket.
The VC doesn't screw around with shady descriptions. _________________ T.K. |

Thanks for the replies, I'm seeing the latest ones just now. I called them and they confirmed that it does have the heating element. I know it said factory but I've been burned by misleading descriptions before. It's never happened from VC but I try and get as much info before I order anything these days. _________________ 1989 Westfalia full camper, 2WD, 4-speed, 2.1 WBX |

If they mention it's a factory item, it is.
If they mention it's aftermarket, they will tell you that too.
You'll never get burnt like that from by the VC. _________________ T.K. |
