Opening scene of the movie The Hill which is in the theatres now and On Demand. Filmed alot in my hometown of Augusta, Ga. Last year, they advertised for old cars to be in the movie so I sent my pictures in and my car was chosen. They used it for two days. My son also got in the movie as an extra playing baseball. It's a good movie, based on a true story about the struggles a guy had making it to the majors. Starring Dennis Quaid.

cool!!!!

My office is a movie star. They made our tower here in midtown ATL, CIA HQ in one episode, and a Russian Lab in another (cyrillic signs everywhere) for a couple episodes of MacGyver. I didn't get to be an extra though.

Nice !!!!

My 1971 Convertible was used as a backdrop for models' photoshoot maybe 15 years ago; I got paid like $150 for the day, and it was close to my workplace.

Very cool, Did you just park the car there for the shot, or was it used in other scenes?

I parked it there at the baseball stadium for day one. Day two was at an old abandoned church but it didn't make that scene. $250 per day.

So it only made it in the very opening scene.

Reason I asked is they used my friends car in the movie Peggy Sue got married, back in the day. He had horror stories of the way they treated it, and said he would never do it again. Now, his car was a big part of the movie with the main characters actually driving it, so that is a bit different than just parking it for still shots.
$250 a day? Thats pretty good!
