Picked up my bus from mates place who did the rag install
Over the moon with how it’s come up
Dropped my bus of at my other mates place to do some gearbox and front mounted oil cooler mods
Also played around with a couple of wheels for shits and giggles
While the bus has been away I’ve been playing with door tops and pop outs and engine lid and rear valance

My bus arrived back home
from my mates place after he’s done some mods underneath for running gear
I’ve been busy building up window door tops and installing into doors
Hung them on the bus for shits and giggles
A few tweaks here and there but pretty happy, almost feels like I’ve turned the corner

Bit behind on the updates on this thread
Finished of all the welding jobs underneath and got the underside in paint
With the outside belly pans welded in and the centre section able to be bolted and unbolted in
Made a start on some paint/ patina blending

A bit more progress on the mango
Finally got the correct faded mango paint match right
Bit of trail and error but happy with the result
Now starting put some bits back on which is exciting

Still chipping away on the mango when I find time
Lucky enough to have sourced og door cards for the bus and rear corner ones were saveable from the bus also
Also removed my lower bulkhead rubber from my 63 as not much of it gets seen in there with the camping interior
Pretty rare to be able score a og one in good to useable condition

Hey man how’s things
Na that material was long gone, there were little bits on both ends folded over underneath.
To be honest I dig the patina thats now on it, I could of prob got enough material of some of my spare ( real rough condition) cards
Cheers bud |
