This is my bus I have been working on, The inside was totally gone so it was a fresh slate. I have been trying to turn it into a climbing camping van. Lots of little tricks and hidden treats throughout. Like a bike rack, stove, water jug, plug and 110v wiring, granite countertop, and more. Some of the photos are older than others, so some items changed slightly.

I had extra materials from remodeling my house. The bed is a climbing crash pad so I can pull it out and go bouldering. |

Wasn't finished in these photo's. Seats were out of a Maxima and all power worked great. _________________ 2001 ZO6 (450+hp)

I actually dont have a swivel, but after bending the leading edge of the track slightly, I can just run the seat backwards on the tracks. With a little practice, I can flip it around in 15 seconds.

I believe I will be copying that forward headbanger cabinet. Great idea for using space. And I had not though of running the seat backwards in the tracks. I have vanagon seats ready to go into my 70 camper. I was planning to hunt down and install a swivel base. Now I think I can skip that step. _________________ Confusious say it takes it takes two wipes to know you need three, but it takes three wipes to know it only needed two. |

This isn't the Champagne edition, it's the Red Wine edition. Obviously my wife is as "into it" as I am. We had a '79 Mexico Beige camper when we were first married and loved it. The plaid was shot so we decided to do it like we wanted. We're reliving our past except no more Jerry Garcia:(. Saw Bob Weir this year though! |
