Cool picture, which auto-colourised well

I love this photo so much. Both versions.

Yes, it has pretty much everything, doesn’t it. Clarity, cool car, Porsche/VW dealership, stylish pump, old-style service & class, uniform, warmth, atmosphere, time

Two spares for a decent road trip…
Could be a Beetle behind too, front on, pulling out

it's good for a colourised photo but, for me, the red on the guy's left arm is too much so I've knocked it back and if I had the time I'd make his hat blue too...

Thumbs Up
There’s probably a better free online colouriser out there than the one I use…

Probably some useful info

Quote:
Those of you who have dyed a ragtop cover to more closely match the original color, I would assume you'd start with a white one. What product did you use and how well will it hold up?

My '59 was, and will again be, L14 Mignonette/Reseda green and I'd like to have the vinyl not be the generic black or tan

Quote:
Get a white cream or tan ragtop and use SEM color coat vinyl paint. The marine line would be best. It can be custom ordered to any color so sending in your glovebox of ashtray lid or license light housing or other small part to color match would be ideal, some local paint supply house can mix it up if you don’t want to mail a part somewhere

Hysterical! The second I saw your pics posted in the gallery, saw that bright red hair, and the Oregon plate on the Oval, I said "Is that Ron Hanset?"

That Member's Only jacket is the icing on the cake of a legendary photo!
