Thanks, Everett and KTPhil! The Fasty in "Up in Smoke" is unfortunately partly blocked in that scene in every shot. I advance YouTube frame by frame using , and . on keyboard after a stop to find the shot where you see the most of the car. Take a screen shot and enhance it in Photoshop.

A few more shots from SoCal, this time from the TV show "CHiPs" episode "Nightingale" (S3E23, 1980). The red late Squareback is in several highway scenes.

Dark Squareback in background, YouTube video on the history of the Porsche 917 race car. Main engineer Ferdinand Piech is at left, and Ferry Porsche at right holding up the hood. The race car has a flat-12 cylinder engine, which would be the main powerplant of the incredible 917. Porsche also experimented with a flat 16-cylinder aircooled race engine but its intake stacks were slightly tilted outward compared to the straight-up ones here.

^ Another Squareback in the background of a full-race Porsche, this time behind movie star and race driver Steve McQueen (playing race driver character Michael Delaney) sitting at the genuine Porsche 917 which his character drove in the epic movie "LeMans" (1971).

The Chevy van in the left turn lane reminds me of a van just like it that I drove for work when I lived in Texas back in the mid 80's. Wink Same color combo too.

From a 1990 skate video "Useless Wooden Toys", a yellow late Squareback shows up at 2:45, 2:55, and 5:09

I don't know how to do screen shots, so I'll just link the whole video.

From the TV show "T.J. Hooker" S3E17 "Hot property": 2 partly stripped Fastbacks in junkyard-

And a blue Squareback in the same junkyard-

Most of us have watched the thrilling car chase in the movie "Bullitt" (1968) but who has spotted the blue '66/'67 Fastback parked at left? Blink and you miss it. The antagonists' black Dodge Charger is turning left ahead, with one of its hubcaps already spinning down the street at its left front wheel. Viewed from main character Det. Frank Bullitt's (Steve McQueen) Mustang.

The people in the black sweaters on the opposite intersection sidewalk are from 2nd unit camera crew which are filming the 2 chase cars coming down the hill, standing next to/filming past the stopped Cadillac in the street.

The original "Gone in 60 Seconds" (1974) has many Type 3; probably the most prominent was the white early Fastback which gets rear-ended on the bridge, then flips over. Here are others:
