Interested to find out what engine combos those running bigger wheel / tyre combos have. I've always loved how MadMax's bus looks - the iron lion to capetown / new york / beijing threads are epic. I've kind of promised that type of thing to myself in the future.

My engine has just gone bang so the future is now. I'm not going down the CS route - out of my budget range, and I'd like to keep as many of her original internals running as possible.

Pondering 1.8 with dished pistons or the AA 96 mm / 1.9 slip in kit for the 66mm crank and some kind of easier breathing exhaust. I'm more comfortable with the idea of dished vs flat top pistons, but it's be good to get first hand experience from those with stockish engines running bigger diameters.
