Great post and your 'spot on' with Murphy's, but with that, you should change your location to County Cork! |

Im an alcoholic so it doesnt matter.. But if I had a choice, it would be a Heineken, San Miguel, Corona, or the newly aquired beer that I tried which is Red Stripe.. _________________ Maui No Ka Oi

Everyday: Kokanee
For a treat: Missoula's Big Sky Moose Drool or Summer Honey (in season)
While in Portland OR: Terminator Stout, the best I've found yet

Holy beer nirvana - there are some good looking beers to try in this post.
I recently tried a Canadian Honker while passing through Rochester, MN (at the Canadian Honker restaurant) quite a nice beer, went very well with the juicy Cajun burger.
I also had my first Bell's winter white ale- very flavorful.
For you experimental beer nuts there was a hemp beer I tried at a beer fest in Colorado (I think called Hempen Ale) that was pretty good. _________________ Steal my cash but leave my bug alone

Actually, the Murphys we get is brewed in Luton, England. Still pretty good stuff and fairly readily available here in SoCal.
Some local brews that I enjoy come from the Indian Wells Brewing Company, a minibrewery located in the Mojave Desert:
The Orange Blossom is a good summer brew, while the Piute and Lobotomy will satisfy one's darker side. |

| My fridge is filled with Snow cap;Pyramid brewing, Jubelale;Deschutes brewing, Full Sail Pale Ale, and a few other random beers like RedHook and Kokanee. My root cellar has goodies like just about anything from Stone Brewing, Siera Nevada's Bigfoot, several different Imperial stouts that are waiting for the right occasion, and the ever present NOS selection of snowcap and Jubelale to compare flavor differences when the new version is released every season. In my travels I have never found better beers than what is available here in the northwest. I will give credit to August Schell's brewery from Mew Ulm, MN for making the best stuff I've had in the Midwest. Great little brewery and they give tours daily. |

I just realized an egregious spelling error in my last post. Its NEW ULM, MN. A nice little German town in south central MN.
I left out a few beers too. How about Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. My favorite Schell's is Schmalt's Alt, though its hard to find, even in MN as it seems they do limited production runs.
I prefer the strong beers since I would rather have two with 7-10% alcohol than have to endure a six pack of whatever piss they sell at the corner store. |

Heineken is skunk pee. and Corona isn't a real beer (don't fruit the beer)
My fav= Any authentic GERMAN beer, I do prefer the heiffevison (yea I know I butchered the spelling but it's been quite awhile since I've had any) _________________ 57 Oval (with creative engineering)
