This is a very effective technique called “Flow Forming”
I modified my old door skin tool that I no longer use to be the male shape that I needed.

Hey folks. I have been slacking on posting lately.
Im stoked to have my son back while he is in summer vacation….
Things are moving rite along. I will post up some photos up later from the last rotation. This one is getting real close to being finished. I just got the hood, doors and decklid back from blast and prime.

Ok folks so my Son wrapped up the last of the small tasks today and this o e is going to sit back for a little bit until the chassis arrives and we can bolt the body down and to final fit all the gaps.

Ok folks …. an update on the KG …. We have wrapped up all the major metal work. I’m removing the body from the rotisserie to a cart in preparation to receive the pan here shortly. It’s important to me to get the body and pan married back together so I can finalize fitment and gaps. This one is really close to moving to the next chapter. I’m really happy with the rate that we are able to get these cars wrapped up on the metal phase of the restoration process.
