It sure would be great if someone re-popped these at a more realistic affordable price for normal working dudes such as myself. Regrettably the U.S. Air Force doesn't pay me an absorbent amount of money to play with. In the meantime I'll keep dreaming and whining! _________________ 1966 13 Window Deluxe

I'm curious as well - wasn't able to find out any more info or feedback on them. _________________ -Thom

Can anyone tell me about these floor mounts? NOS? Repro? For a completely different vehicle altogether?
The left one is from Wolfsburg West - I know that already - but I'm not sure about the provenance of the other two. I bought them years ago for my barndoor and never ended up using them. The middle one is just slightly beefier than the WW version, but with more detailed stamping. The one on the right is ballistic-grade - almost 2x at thick as the others.
I've never had a bus with a middle seat; are the mounts supposed to sit that high above the floor rib?

Picked up a soft green middle in a trade. Trying to determine whether it is a flat or curved back, as it looks kind of in between.
Can someone confirm from these pics, or should I be looking at another part of the seat?

Looks curved to me.
Flat backs have more square flip sections, and are truly flat across top to bottom. See flat back seat in foreground of the middle seat theater.

Another shot, see how much flatter the flip section of the flat seat sits compared to the curved back double flipper caramel flip section next to it.
Though I guess this isn't dispositive, as the deluxe six-legged seat to the left has a more curvy looking shape.... _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

The side piece of material for the flipper looks like a flat back. it is very straight. But since the seam has popped I think it's making it look like a curved back |

It looks flat to me but not super flat.
If the last photo is the underside, it's a curved seat as flat backs have the large coil springs underneath.

Thanks Everett,
The last photo was inside the flipper through the torn seam.
Here's a photo of the springs from the bottom:

Ok, that makes sense as it did look like a back rest assembly to me.
The bottom set up you posted above is a curved seat bottom design. _________________ How to Post Photos

What year is this seat? I've read the bar is thin with chrome ends is 61-63, thick with plastic ends 64-67. Not sure which this is. What type of seams are these? Thanks.

You are correct, late 61-63. Grab bars should have the same profile as the dash handle. Sown seams. _________________ WANTED:
