blank and I have had several dealings back and forth. I recently needed a part for my Dodge pickup and the best priced item I could find was on E-Bay; however, I have dial-up access and E-Bay and slow dial-up do not mesh. But Dave, being the groovy guy he is, scored my part and had it shipped to my house. He's OK, for a white guy.

well, it will come as no surprise that there's another person who had a great transaction with blankmange Dave. he had a spare dashpad he sold me at a great price and packed the snot out of it. maybe the longest box i've ever seen come out of a UPS truck and enough styrofoam packing peanuts to make Greenpeace weep.

Bought a very nice, used Type 3 Bentley from Dave. Delivery was prompt as I was standing in his garage at the time. His wife makes hella good chocolate chip cookies.

I posted a want/needed post in the Type 3 Forum asking for a part I needed for a motor project. Dave sent the part and it arrived quick and well packaged. If anyone ever has any questions on buying from him dont he is 100% trustworthy and does exactly what he says he will do. Dave you are top notch my Friend.

yet again, Dave had the part and was willing to part with it. All that, and the pleasure of dinner with him and his lovely wife. She didn't even raise an eyebrow when I began work on my fuel gauge swap right at the table - there's a seasoned VW widow for ya!

And for the bonus round, got to do a quick spin around Carthage, the site for the 2010 Invasion. Pleasant surprise there: it's a bit bigger than I expected with plenty of food options and such.
