Even with the stock intake 100% clear this should be better then having the #2 and #4 cyl blowing back and forth. I tried looking for header preheat setups using the search but must be doing it wrong. Figured this is kinda what you guys are doing?

Or a variation thereof yes. The search functions are very fussy things. Get one word or the spelling wrong or out of sequence and you are out of luck. I think only after market uses those two cylinders, but Stock has the draw side behind the Pee Shooter so that trust comes from all cylinders.
I think your design will be good.
73 VW Thing has a different design with the dual exhaust that I like also.
