I know how and why the importance of breaking in a new/rebuilt engine but how about the trans? I just had my 74 ssc redone and was wondering of how to do this. Anyone have thoughts on this? I did fill it with standard gear oil but could I go to synthetic later?

Just drive it. You might want to change the lube at 1000 miles just to see if any "teeth" come out Wink
