No doubt, my craptacular 13window and I will be there. It's less than 10 miles from my house
I'll be the dude that gives you the registration slip as you drive into the show _________________ All he needed was a wheel in his hand and four on the road.

I'll be there in my Jetta. My 13 window will be staying at home due to motor issues. _________________ -Andrew |

Cool...I hope to see all of you guys there...Maybe we can do a group shot of all the Samba members that show up or something like that.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I am going to be able to bring my '66 out this year, because I still haven't gotten it drivable (safely, anyway). But you never know...I might get it ready in time... _________________ 1967 13 Window Deluxe

It would be cool if more of them did, however, I don't see that happening.
Many of them don't exactly have the mindset to survive on here
What I can't wait for is the camping (read big crazy party) the night before! _________________ All he needed was a wheel in his hand and four on the road.

Well, I wanted to just tow it up there and then drive it around in the park, but the brakes are still sticking. (I think it is the rubber lines or the wheel cylinder.) Anyway, I might still bring it, if I can get that stuff fixed before then. I will email you about that tow bar and let you know something soon... _________________ 1967 13 Window Deluxe

Daniel...Bring the car that friday...Get your rubber lines and plenty of brake fluid, I'll bring my tools and we can drink beer and do a brake job on your car there at the park! You can drive it home!
I have most of the new old parts (stuff from parts bus) on Heinz. Daniel you have saved my a@# with the parts you gave me...I owe you so lemme help you on the brakes. Out of the box I needed and will use a backing plate, adjusters, and the parking brake parts! I had not even thought about these little parts but you really saved me! I should drive Heinz to work tomorrow (Thursday)
Oh...If all goes well I may have time this saturday to come to your home and help you with the brakes... _________________ Peace, far out, Groovy man!

Todd, I really appreciate your offer of help, and I will definitely take you up on it soon...It's just money (or lack thereof) is my problem right now... I haven't had a job for a while, and the little bit of money I have I need to save to pay for things when I go to the show. I've put some job applications in, but I haven't heard back from the places yet. What I will probably have to do is just either bring my car up to your shop one day and we can work on it there, or just figure out a time you can come down to my house and we can work on it here, after I get a job...
But you never know, I may get some more money before then, and if I do I will bring the car to the park and we can fix it on Friday... _________________ 1967 13 Window Deluxe
