dual port center mount non-progressive weber carb

my 76' westy with a t4 engine came with a dual port center mounted carb that is not progressive. there are no number to pull off it, and in addition there are no wires going to it for a solenoid shut off or anything.

has anyone ever seen or better yet, owned and dealt with one of these?
i would like to be able to know for certian what each adjust screw is adjusting, any information input is appreciated.

i did look on weber website, but i didnt find anything i could identify as what im running right now.

Could be a Weber, Solex, Zenith(32NDIX were common on T1 engines), or even a Holley(factory-fitted on Fords & others from 2.6L to 7.5L engines) non-progressive 2-Bbl carb.

Find the markings & post pics for positive i.d. (My bet is on the Zenith; can be a nice setup.) Here's spme links to sites that may help you figure out what carb your bus is wearing.

that's interesting, can't say i've ever seen a centre mounted IDF on a type 4 engine. what does the manifold look like where it attaches to the head?

in terms of tuning, there is plenty of documentation for tuning the centre mounted IDF on an upright engine, it is fairly common. and there is a ton of documentation for that carb, books, online stuff, you name it. it is very widely used for many different applications.

That manifold looks like the one that FAT Performance sells for T4 offroad engines using a single carb...
