Does anyone have a up close picture of each individual carb on a pair of idfs with the hex bar linkage hooked up? I bought a new set of redline 44 idfs and I have tried every throttle lever that came on the carb and the extra ones in the kit And I cant get them right. I hope someone understands what I'm talking about thanks |

On the throttle shaft you should have a teardrop shaped stamped metal plate. The fat end of the teardrop goes on the shaft, and the small end has a hole in it. Through that hole will go a hex shaft with male threads on one end and female threads in the other. This shaft interfaces the heim joints with the tear drop. One side will have a longer shaft due to the staggered cylinder arrangement. _________________ 1972 Standard Beetle
