That van never came over from Brazil, I'm having his brother now. Smile
But without the pressed bumpers.

Coming back from Bug Show last year and had some oil on the backwindow. And angry drivers behind me :geek:
result, the cranck has 15 mm bouncing space in the case.

Then starts the long and difficult thinking process to detemine what to do.
I Like 100% original busses, verry much but i realise the behaviour doesn't fit to my wishes of long traveling holidays.

So i deside to opt in for some extra horespower.

The big spending is then on youre doorway.
More horsepower needs some better driving and stopping

This is where i am now.

Well started a few weeks ago,

Had completely stripped down the red9 axle, to paint it black.

The when I would mout it on the car I had to take away the Stubs for the brakeline's and there was a lot of underbody coating.

Stripping this I found a verry solid bus, so I desided to strip it completely naked to bare metal and build op the new paint system, epoxy primer, 3m rubbeer coating and 2k paint.

Wow! That's some very impressive work going on there. Makes others think of what we could do to ours, with enough funds that is. That's going to be one sweet ride.

Fired up the nwe engine, wouldn´t fire in first place, choke valve was stuck. So cost a little time to find out what was happening.

Started at the front,
Assembly of the Boxter brakes.
