I have a guy that wants to trade my boat for a 67 Ghia conv. It has no rust on it and the motor was redone three years ago. The problem is there is no interior and the owner's wife slid it into a ditch and she is tweaked on the right side. the rear quarter is creased right up to the top corner of the hood lid and the right fender has a good sized dent right from the top of the fender down about 8 inches. I aint scared of body work like that but I am worried about the crease in the rear especially with it being a convertible. Given what it is should I walk away? I'll try to add the pictures here if I can figure it out...

My boat is worth about 4500 book value and I have redone the floor including ribs and stringers with wood and 'glass and the interior was completely redone along with a new powerhead and new paint. So it isn't junk but I dont want to get something that is chewing off tires either. I'm trying to add the pictures now

Thanks for that direction.
After looking at all those advertised in a LOT better shape for the same price or less I think I'm gonna pass on it. Shame though since otherwise it's a beautiful little car.

I would sell the boat and offer him less in cash. He might do it, otherwise, he has a beat up VW just sitting there.
