Hi there,

Does anybody now where do the ends of the wires that are in this picture go?... I have already check the diagram and cant find them.

They belong to the turn signals my suspicion is that they go to an emergency flasher relay, this means that I should add a switch too, right?

I have a 65 converting to 12V and this is it, I just have those 2 loose ends.

Thanks in advance.

That looks like a "new" wiring harness" ... it might have some wiring for emergency flasher switch which your 65 did not come with that year.

If your turn signals work fine wired as they are I would tape them off or "dummy" the ends.

Unless you want to do the other mods it would take to add the emergency flashers.

I just rewired my 68 and those look like the wires that go to the emergency flasher switch. I think you can just tape them off.

As Keith suggests, if your blinkers work fine all the way around, tape those leads off. If not, they should be wired to the 12V 9 pin box, green/black to VR, white /black to VL. You could add an emergency flasher, but as mentioned, the '65's didn't have them. You would have to drill a hole in your dash and place one where the '66's were located, and add that switch (good luck finding a '66 switch) or a '67 later switch. The two wires for the assembly hooked up to the S and 49A on the 9 pin box. If you use a '66 switch, make sure to put a 12V bulb in the knob.
