I bought what I was told were 92B's for my 2234 project. I'm in the mockup stages now, and I have a .155 inch over hang from the pistons. Sounds to me like these are really A's no?

Not really.
84 stroke takes a pretty healthy shim pack.
Is your case decked as well?

Sounds about right to me, especially if the case registers have been cleaned up.

Only that much overhang? It is not a drop-in huh, Bash? Very Happy

How long are the rods you using?

Just push the cylinder up to the deck you desire then measure the deck space below the cylinder. Mock up some shims together and see where the final deck figure is. Then find or have the proper spacers made.

They make really long cylinder barrels and just trim for whatever height you need. These cylinders are really usefull when you go to the 88mm strokes and 6-inch rods. Talk about a wide engine block.

Ok just checking. These cylinders were run on a stroker briefly before, and the tops of the pistons were machined slightly to help with deck. I guess I'm giving RIMCO or someone a call with the shim dimensions... Mabie I'll give the local machine shop a call as well.

Rods are 5.5 chevy.
