Looks good with bar, but how is that bar mounted?

This is with smoked covers on the fog and off-road lights (street legality purposes & I didn't bother to take them off for the photo).

If you are referring to my Bush Bar, I had L-brackets welded to the frame underneath but am in the process of modifying them to extend my air scoop farther forward.

Yes Shonandb , I figured there had to be some fabrication. I wish somebody with metal skills would offer up some alternatives to Hursts , being that some of us would consider adding alternative bullbars or 'Roo bars for the purpose of lights or protection from wildlife. Need offerings for both splits and bays!

I kept my eyes out for a while and found this Bullbar on my local Craigslist and liked the look. It's 3.5" tubing and I could have used spring u bolts and some hardware or drill holes to attach it to the frame but figured welding would be stronger. I had an extra bent bumper so I straightened it and attached the bar to the bumper using stainless exhaust clamps so it is easy to remove (2 mounting bolts) and put the original bumper back on. I thought I would switch it back but the bar has grown on me and it makes a great ladder to get into the luggage rack bag.

I see that you are in Colorado. I lived in Edwards and worked in Vail one ski season back in the early 90s. I was driving a 73 VW Panel Bus at the time but only saw a bit of the State while I was there. Here's a pic from San Luis Lake/Reservoir.

Finally got around to wiring up my rack lights. Hella ValueFit in the front and a Hella ValueFit in the rear for reverse.

made these brackets from 6"x 2", 16 guage sheet. Mount to either side of bper bracket bolt. Note offset of holes for R+ L sides. These are for split bus with blade bumper specifically. But you can bend anything hoss.
