When did Kubels switch from the 100mm KDF style pod-mounted speedometer to the miniature 60mm speedometer?

The spareparts-list says, that the change was at Bodynumber 25001. I don't want to trust it, but the change was definitly in 1943, not in 1944...

I agree that it was 1943, and done at the same time that the 'dashboard' was changed to the schwimmwagen type.

An Interesting and true Detail about the speedometer is that a employer of Volkswagen named Karl Meier had the idea to change the large one into the Small type of the Schwimmwagen in reason of saving Material during the war. After this war he founded an own company for Volkswagen assecoiries because he always had good ideas to pimp the VWs. He named it Kamei....
