Well so far it looks like Grover's Goodies will be back with some eats for the famished and it looks very likely the trademark blue bug will be along side for the ride.
Wife may be cooking up some new ideas this year (deep fried oreos) along with some other ideas to switch up a little bit.
I'll be heading back to the motherland at the beginning of March so I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled for some good donations to the raffle, I'll post once I get back to give a little teaser.
Need some feedback yet on the t-shirts but the designs are moving along quite well. If the stars are aligned right this year i may be bringing along shirts of my own to sell, here are some shirts you may see available....
I also have some type 3's in the works since we are going with that theme this year. Keep your fingers crossed like I am, I'm super stoked to get this shirt thing going especially so I can finally give shirts to B, Nutter and the Cookers....i know you guys are dying to have one.
Keep the thread going...we can make this show an event everyone will want to attend, i guarantee it....when you have B, Nutter, and the Cookers behind it, you know it will be a blast!!! |

keep up the good work Grover!
Cant wait for this show again this year...last year was a true sign that its only gonna get BIGGER! The diehards that showed up regardless of the weatherman's predictions proves there is now a firm base for this event and will get bigger each year! Not to mention the grassroots donations drive that took place this winter in support for 2010's show! _________________ Cooker's V-Dubs, Clear Spring, Maryland

Yup yup. We've at about the $500 mark in pre-season sponsorship/support so far.
PM or email me if you are willing/able to make a product/cash donation to help "support the cause"...or just wanna make a comment or suggestion. _________________ Home of the Annual Simple Transport Air Cooled shows!

Whoops forgot to put my donation in, B put me in for $20 along with whatever give aways i hope to run across in the next few weeks. Any suggestions throw em at me i'll be in the perfect place for them. I'm hoping to find some good type 3 stuff, also keeping my eyes open for some pieces from the third reich if anyone is interested, my dumb ass passed up on some cash bills last time there at a antique shop I could kick myself for not getting. Anyone has any desires yell at me I'll keep a look out. |

Updates:
Donations are up to the $600 mark and it's not even Spring yet!
We're always seeking new ideas for give-aways, prizes, contests, and awards etc. So if you can help us out please let us know.
We're in the early stages of making this a two-day event. Trying to plan a pre-show cruise-in and/or local open houses at local VW hot spots. More details on that soon, stay tuned.
We've put together a website for legitimacy and up to date info:

Picked up the first give away while I was is Germany. Maisto 67 squareback buildable diecast, this thing is cool wish I would have picked one up for myself.
Also, anyone who wants a Deutch plate get in contact with me before next Monday, I have access to get them for around $15 right now so I'll be putting in a request to one of my team members to pick these up while they are there till the end of next week......let me know |

Niiiice. I think someone is a VW nut!
I met a new VW enthusiast and Tattoo artist today. I think we'll have a show car entry and a Tattoo contest entry...or judge! _________________ Home of the Annual Simple Transport Air Cooled shows!
