I picked up a pair of Huls recliners for my 1963 convertible bug. They need to be re-painted, and the handles need to be polished. I've been advised to paint them the original silver color. I'm thinking about having them powder coated to match my seat frames. What should I do? Also, I haven't seen too many cars with recliners on both seats. I'm thinking about installing on the drivers side only, and selling the other. If I can get some feed back, it would be appreciated. |

I'm leaning towards mounting them both, and restoring them back silver/hammer finish. Your picture is sick, I would have put clear coat on those recliners... And rocked them with the patina... But, I've done same crazy stuff like painting over Og paint with primer... That's a sin now a days...lol |

I chromed a pair for my vert so they stand out. Make ppls double take and ask questions. That's probably the best way to go. |
